Apology
My husband(Dilip Sukumar) & myself( Anitha Dilip) had booked a ticket to cairo by kuwait airways on **.**.** from cochin, for sight seeing in Egypt for * days.. KU *** ; eticket number ************* and *************. our flight was scheduled at *.** am. We went for check in at cochin airport by * pm itself. the staff accepted our baggage and tickets and before issuing boarding pass they asked us to show our Egypt eVisa( EV-************ and EV-************) after reading the evisa they told us we cannot board the flight without the guarantee letter of the travel agent in Egypt. they told us that the travel agent should give a confirmation letter saying they will look after us. we showed them the hotel bookings, trip itenary, return flight tickets and all the documents we had at that time. the time in india was around **.** pm by then nd travel agents were not in a position to reply at that time. somehow one person from travel agency( from India) picked up the phone and sent an email to airways stating they will take care of us from egypt. the airways staff told us to sign a declaration form ( which they could have done earlier) and issued the boarding pass.
actually the harassment and strain we underwent was very bad.
I know there wont be any action against the staff, but just wanted to inform you about the harassment we had, just because we booked a ticket in kuwait airways. we are frequent international travellers and didnt have such an experience ever before. i wish to tell you we wont prefer to book tickets in kuwait airways again
