WORST EXPERIENCE WITH APML!!!

I moved house from New Delhi to Dehradun in August ****. The consignment was given to APML New Delhi brach in the name of my father, a retired government officer.(GC No. *********). Since day * of coordinating with APML me and my entire family were taken very lightly by APML employees. They even failed to show up on the day of loading the luggage on the trucks, even after repeatedly reminding them of the schedule, which wasn't even our responsibility. On calling the APML coordinators they didn't even respond to the calls. After hours of calling them again and again...they pick up and say 'WE FORGOT'!!! Wow! Such professionalism and work ethics!! After loading in a hurry in two trucks(one ** feet container and other a smaller pick up truck...both of them jam packed!)....after being promised a **ft truck on the day of quotation and survey, farud again! we shifted from Delhi to Dehradun. Our luggage and belongings arrived on the scheduled day but only in ONE TRUCK(** ft container). On asking the workers they told us at the night of the loading day THEY SHIFTED ALL THE LUGGAGE FROM THE SMALLER TRUCK TO THE **FT CONTAINER TRUCK which was already jam packed!! This was done WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT! PURE FRAUD!!! Upon unloading our NEW FURNITURE and crockery was found to be BROKEN (witness of the workers who loaded and unloaded our luggage video attached), AS A RESULT OF FORCING THE LUGGAGE IN THE ALREADY JAM PACKED TRUCK. On contacting the manager we were once again taken very lightly! We were not even provided with a proper bill or receipt even after days of making the online transaction of all the service charges in full, in advance. They kept telling us that the bill will.be mailed in 'just ** minutes' but to no avail. ONCE AGAIN HARASSED!!!! A damage survey was conducted for claims, by APML Dehradun branch after which they just kept quiet for a month even after trying to contact them regularly and also warning them that we would be forced to take legal action against APML. We got the bill...BUT ONLY AFTER GOING TO THE POLICE STATION AND THE POLICE INSPECTOR CALLING UP APML DELHI MANAGER TO SEND THE BILL!!. THE BILL...THAT TOO IMPROPER... WITHOUT ANY BREAKUP OF THE CHARGES AND THE LUGGAGE INSURANCE MENTIONED IN THE QUOTATION. WE ONCE AGAIN HAD TO BEG FOR A PROPER BILL AND RECEIPT. But all to no avail. Either the employees in the APML Delhi office are really fickle minded or they are pure sadists!! Or they just want to desperately make this fraudulent consignment a forced success.

My Father, a retired Scientific Adviser to the Chief of Army Staff of India, is already aged and suffering from heart conditions, high blood pressure, thyroidism, diabetes, and after this incident he is also suffering from severe depression! All thanks to APML!!!

I am writing this post after two months of the incident because i was extremely busy getting my father get a proper medical treatment and making him feel better and repairing the broken furniture.

HAVING SUCH A HUGE REPUTATION IN THE LOGISTICS SECTOR, WE COULDNT EVEN IMAGINE SOMETHING LIKE THIS FROM APML. SHAME ON YOU APML!!!!!!!

After being so much harassed and suffering financial, emotional and personal losses, i was compelled to send a legal notice to them mentioning everything, which they received a month ago from now. As expected, no response from APML's end. Just wow!!! Hats off APML, that's how you cheat and harass an ex-govt officer who made all the payments in full and on time without even being reminded for the same!
