My experience with Talbiya Umrah was nothing short of a nightmare. The company proved to be dishonest and caused significant trouble throughout the trip. The problems began with a water shortage in the hotel they assigned, and despite my complaints, they failed to handle the situation professionally.
One of the most glaring lies was regarding the distance of the hotel from the Haram. They claimed it was only *** meters, but in reality, it exceeded *.* kilometers. This can be easily verified by checking the hotel brochure, which I have attached. Moreover, the hotel itself was of poor quality, falling into the category of a third-class establishment. The geyser in my room didn't work properly, adding to the discomfort.
To make matters worse, the flight they assigned had no food provisions, and they didn't even bother to inquire about dietary requirements. It was clear that they had a complete disregard for basic necessities.
What became evident was that Talbiya Umrah is not really a tour company but rather a middleman that assigns agents from Pakistan. Their lack of a dedicated on-site team and absence of a cohesive group dynamic created a disorganized and unprofessional experience. It seemed like their agents were juggling responsibilities for multiple tour operators, compromising the quality of service provided.
Their dishonesty extended to misrepresenting the hotel distance. Initially, they claimed it was measured from the Haram boundary, which turned out to be a lie. When confronted, they changed their stance and said it was from the bus stop. This constant shifting of explanations raised doubts about their integrity. Furthermore, their response urging me to focus on tilawat instead of addressing my concerns demonstrated a lack of respect and professionalism.
Not only did they fail to provide Zamzam water, but they also handed me SAR ** in cash and expected me to purchase it myself. This added further disappointment and inconvenience.
To top it all off, the taxi assigned by their agent dropped me at the wrong terminal on my return journey. I had to spend additional money on another taxi to reach the correct terminal for my flight, causing unnecessary stress and expense.
In conclusion, my experience with Talbiya Umrah during Ramadan was marred by their unprofessional and deceitful practices. They showed a lack of respect for Hajis and failed to provide the expected services. I strongly advise others to avoid this company to prevent similar disappointments.
