I am from Assam.I booked a tour package for * adults to Sikkim for * nights * days through noida based travel agency HUMSAFAR HOLIDAYS(address is given below). At first they sent me a mail of the package amounting ***** which was final. On **.**.**** I paid **% of the package. On the same day they asked for full payment saying that they will send all the booking details to me. Accordingly, I paid the full amount. After paying ***** they asked for another ***** on .**.**.****due to hike in prices of goods and service. I argued with them and requested for cancellation. But they told me to pay the amount and that will be final price as claimed by them which I paid on *.**.****. Then they asked for **% GST which is also paid on *.**.****.Till then I paid Rs *****.On *.**.**** they again asked for another ***** which I come to know as complete fraud after reading feedbacks of the company on internrt(compkaintlists.com).Then I asked them to cancel my package which has been denied by them and they aggressively asked the money otherwise there will be no further communication from them and also threatened me cancelling the whole package. Accordingly I lodged a complaint at National Consumer Helpline. But unfortunately no help has been provided. My complaint has been disposed off and I have been suggested to file a case against the company at District Consumer Commission.
Now I want full compensation for the mental harassment as well as for fraudulent service provided by them.
