Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Fala Holidays and Packages and to request a full refund of Rs ***,***, inclusive of interest. This amount is calculated as Rs ***,*** (initial payment) + Rs **,*** (interest paid) - Rs **,*** (partial refund received). My grievance stems from the inability to utilize their services, as Fala Holidays has consistently failed to respond or honor any of our booking requests over the past year.

We purchased the holiday package in July **** and have since encountered the same lack of service repeatedly. Based on multiple online sources (e.g., [Complaint Lists](https://www.complaintlists.com/tag/fala-holidays/), [Voxya](https://voxya.com/view-complaint/amount-loss-against-fala-holiday-and-packages/******/), and various Google reviews), it appears that this pattern of unresponsiveness and poor service is a common issue experienced by many other customers as well.

Brief History of the Issue:

On July *, ****, I received a call from an employee of Fala Holidays, Ms. Ishwarya (contact: **********), who informed me that I had won several rewards, including a silver coin, a shopping voucher or movie tickets, and a holiday voucher worth Rs **,***. She claimed that my contact details were obtained through a promotion at Reliance Smart Bazar, Ayyappa Nagar, Bangalore. We were subsequently invited to visit Fala Holidays' office at the KR Inn Hotel in KR Puram, Bangalore.

Upon our visit, Fala Holidays attempted to sell us their holiday package, initially priced at Rs *.** lakhs for a **-year duration. Despite our initial hesitation, we were convinced to purchase the package after being assured of several false benefits, including no-cost EMI payments. This interaction involved two representatives: Mr. Farooq (contact: **********) and Mr. Kushaal (contact: **********).

On July *, ****, Kushaal swiped my ICICI credit card for Rs ***,***, for which I received a receipt from Fala Holidays. However, shortly after, I was informed that the no-cost EMI was not applicable for ICICI credit cards. They then arranged for an IndusInd credit card, through which Rs ***,*** and Rs *,*** were transacted, with a promise to refund the initial amount.

While the refund of initial extra paid amount Rs ***,*** on ICICI credit card (for which they realized no cost EMI is not available and other than the amount ****** /- paid on Indusind credit card) was processed after extensive follow-up, the service thereafter has been abysmal. Despite being a member for over a year, I was only able to avail one service for a day-out worth Rs *,***. Since then, all attempts to book additional services have been met with either no response or false assurances.

Request for Refund:

I request a refund of Rs ***,*** from Fala Holidays and Packages. This amount includes the original Rs ***,*** paid using my IndusInd credit card plus Rs **,*** for interest paid, minus Rs **,***, which was refunded after numerous follow-ups. Their failure to provide the services promised, along with their lack of response and false promises, has caused significant mental distress and wasted considerable time.
