Kotak Mahindra Bank - Filing complaint against misdeed and unethical behaviour of Kotak Mahindra Bank and their employees

Dear Sir/Madam,

I Shemal V. Dave, resident of Jamnagar city and saving account holder (A/C. No. **********) at Kotak Mahindra bank writing this letter in order to sough your assistance and stringent actions against Kotak Mahindra Bank, Park colony branch, Jamnagar. My account has been debited of Rs. **,***/- (Eleven thousand five hundred and sixty-four only) on **/**/***** (*,***/-), **/**/**** (*,***/-) and **/**/**** (***/-) for not maintaining minimum balance in my account. (without any prior notice).

For the above-mentioned query, I called customer care no. where I advised to visit nearest branch and communicate to the bank manager in order to remove promo code from my account. Ergo, I have visited park colony branch on **/**/**** and had a conversation with bank manager Mr. Mihir Purohit. I also submitted a letter wherein I have mentioned all the horrendous moves and ill services offered by bank employees at different points of time and ignorance of my earlier request of closing the account.

At that time, the bank manager Mr. Mihir Purohit was agreed to waive off six months charges that are in total *** x * = ****/-. However, upon my request of full refund, he asked for ** days’ time frame to resolve the matter and communicate with his peers. I agreed with his proposal and waited for ** days.

Sadly, I haven't received any revert back from his end and I had to call him on **th of May at **.** am on his cell phone no. **********. I asked about my status and he mentioned that system at Ahmedabad and Mumbai office haven't started yet, although, he agreed to issue a letter for the same and send it to your email on that day. To my disappointment, he did not adhere to his commitment and gave me false hope.

However, I called him again on **/**/**** at **.** am on his cell phone no. ********** for the same query and he said: "Currently I am on a video call but I will call you back after two minutes". To my surprise, I haven't received any call from his end.

Anyway, I called him again on **/**/**** at **.** am on your cell phone no. ********** for the same query and he mentioned: " Yes Shemal Bhai, I am taking constant follow up of your matter but I am not getting any answer from my peers because everyone is busy in COVID ** crisis, However, I will email within an hour or two in your registered mail address.". Again, this turned out to be false commitment and miss treating of client.

Lastly, I called him on **/**/**** at **.** am on his cell phone no. **********. But this time he gave me a firm conclusion that "I am immediately sending you an official email mentioning that I will not be able to revert back your transaction". It was indeed a most naive reply from a responsible person such as bank manager. Funnily, he failed to glued to his last commitment as well.

It was the same reason why I appealed for closing my account back in June **** and I was treated similarly by one of THE employees Mr. Siddharth Trivedi. Finally, I wrote an email to branch manager asking for written confirmation about his final decision but he didn’t reply to that mail as well.

All this horrendous experience and ill services from Kotak Mahindra bank made me write this letter to you. I solicit your assistance in above discussed query. Along with this letter I have also attached copy of submitted written application to the branch manager, photocopy of screen shot which displays my conversation with Mr. Mihir Purohit, print of mail that I sent to Mr. Mihir Purohit on **th of May ****. Along with that, I have recorded conversation with Mr. Mihir Purohit, which shall validate my claim.
