- Faulty BMW X7 sold to me Open
Muneesh Sud filed this complaint against Bmw India Pvt Ltd on Jun 27, 2023
Two years ago, I purchased a BMW X* vehicle from Infinity Cars, Worli, Mumbai.
After one year itself, its roof started seeping in rain water. After multiple requests and troubles faced by me and after sending the vehicle to their workshop *-* times (spanning few months of dispossession ) they claimed that they have rectified the problem. Albeit, water stains were left on the roof of the car- which they refused to acknowledge and rectify.
If someone purchases such a high-end premium car after paying a huge sum of Rs. *.* Crores, he is expected to have a good and fault free product, at the very least.
Nevertheless, life moved on and everything was ok until now, when the monsoon again arrived this year in the last week of June ****.
In the very first bout of rains, the same problem has resurfaced.
If they claim that they had conclusively repaired the defect the last time (* year ago), the same problem should not have resurfaced again at the same spot.
I approached the dealership management this time and even the BMW worldwide CEO through email for a written apology and replacement of my faulty vehicle.
NO RESPONSE IS COMINB THROUGH.
All of them are sleeping tightly over this and as a consumer I am being put to all the troubles.
Everyday, I have to travel in private taxis in this monsoon. My family is unable to travel but after facing nuisances of Ubers and Olas of the world.
They are once again asking me to hand over the car for inspection and repairs.
The question is that they claim to have rectified the defect last time around as well with best of capable technical and mechanical experts.
I have lost all the trust in BMW Anand I need them to either replace my car with a new one OR take the car back and refund to me the amount paid by me to purchase the same along with interest @**% p.a.
Moreover, it’s an issue of principles and righteousness. These MNC car manufactures are selling their downgraded products in Indian markets at huge prices and are refusing to take the ownership of their faults.
I want them to learn a lesson or two from this.
