*. Household goods delivery through APML (Pune to Noida) that was promised to be done by * days, took ** days to be delivered. Moving of household goods from Pune to Noida usually takes * to * days. APML (in the latest email) denied that there has been no delay from their end.
*. We had planned all our relocation activities according to the timeline promised by APML. A delay of one or two days can be accommodated but not a whole week. During conversation with APML, they mentioned that they would reimburse the lodging charges and would require bills for the same. However, after two months of follow-up and sharing of bills, they denied (in the latest email) that they cannot reimburse the charges.
*. If Holi being a holiday was a factor for delay, then I should have been informed during booking. I could have preponed the date of lodging household goods. But as always, I was assured that the goods would reach by * to * days.
*. Package was loaded on *st March **** from source (Pune) but dispatched only on *th March ****. Reason for delay in dispatch is not known.
*. Package reached destination (Delhi/Noida) on **th March **** (as per updates on APML website and through information from Customer Care) but was delivered on **th March ****. Reason for delay in delivery not known.
*. We had booked a container for Rs. ***** for this transportation where we could use our own lock. But the container had unused packing material which is not allowed to be transported by APML standards. They had to remove it before dispatching at their warehouse. So, I was not allowed to lock the container too.
*. Package was booked in a closed container which was supposed to remain sealed from source until delivery. However, Holi colours were found on the packages. Holi was on **th March **** when the container was still supposed to be in locked condition. No answer has been provided on how the Holi colours got into the sealed container.
*. The container was supposed to be sealed and closed. However, there was a huge hole in the container through which water seepage occurred and damaged some of the packages and goods inside. No explanation has been provided on this negligence at too.
*. There have been other physical damages to the goods also. APML has agreed to pay Rs. **** for the damages. But they have denied compensating for the lodging charges that I had to bear due to the delay in delivery. They have outrightly denied that there is no delay from their end.
**. There has been a lot of mental harassment regarding this delivery. I had to follow up with them every few hours from *st Match **** until *th March **** to ensure that the container has been dispatched. I had spent almost whole days from **th March **** to **th March **** to coax them to deliver the container. I have all the calls recordings available with me for all the conversations that had taken place with APML.
