Yolo Bus - Driver Behaviour

I am writing to bring to your attention a serious incident of misconduct and violation of passenger safety that occurred during my recent journey on one of Yolo buses. I boarded the bus(DL*PD****) from Dikelying, Sahastradhara Road, Dehradun, on **-*-****. Bus timing was **.** p.m. My seat number was **.

Driver halted the bus after Haridwar, near Mangalore, to pick up local passengers, which is a clear violation of the rules and regulations.

When I confronted the driver regarding this inappropriate action, highlighting the security concerns it posed for the passengers already on board, he became confrontational and engaged in an argument with me. Also he allowed his relative and his friend in bus through offline booking. They also threatened me and engaged an argument with me.

The situation escalated further when we reached a restaurant where the driver stopped the bus and instructed the conductor, named Mohit, to make me disembark at that location around * a.m. However, the conductor refused to comply with this directive, recognizing the impropriety of the driver's actions. This led to a heated altercation between the driver and the conductor, which further compromised the safety and well-being of the passengers.

Upon reaching the vicinity of Noida, the driver inquired about my intended destination, to which the conductor responded that I would be disembarking at ISBT Kashmiri Gate. Shockingly, the driver then threatened to leave me stranded there, putting my safety at risk. Fearful for my well-being, I decided to disembark earlier, before Anand Vihar ISBT, to avoid any potential harm.

I would like to emphasize the gravity of this incident and express my deep concern for the safety and security of the passengers on board your buses. The behavior exhibited by the driver was not only a violation of the established rules but also endangered the well-being of the passengers. It is essential that immediate action is taken to address this matter and ensure that such incidents do not recur in the future.
