- Cheating and Misguiding Open
The main concerns are sub standard service compounded by fraud and cheating.
Following are the problems faced while booking * independent bookings(myself and my parents) by Ms. Deepshikha Bhagchi :-
*. Repeated mistakes while making bookings. Every time she made an itenarary, there was some or the other critical mistake.
In my case, I asked her to resend the email with corrected data while my parents had to run around in the vfs embassy as she had provided wrong dates for them too and the visa facilitation officer pointed that out immediately. My father had left his office for this visa process and due to Deepshikha's mistake, he lost * hours of his office time compounded by a lot of running around and attempts to get in touch with Deepshikha at that time.
*. The itenarary for Prague and Budapest was incomplete and had no details of how to reach the bus station. There were different bus stations and my parents were left wondering. Due to this my parents faced a lot of problem as they were hardly any people who spoke English there who could have guided them.
*. As per itenarary, Madam Taussad museum tickets were not recognised there and had to be bought separately. The cost of that has not been reimbursed and neither have we received any apologies for the same.
*. I was consistently been given wrong information about flight and visa travel. I have all the proof in my email. From which tickets to purchase to whether I will be able to fly or not, everything Deepshikha has faked just to make more money. For example she told me I would not be able to fly from Glasgow to Mumbai via Amsterdam as I did not have a Schengen visa, which was false. For this reason she wanted me to purchase another ticket of double the cost and forfeit my previously booked tickets. However, I spent time and money on enquiring at various places and figured out by myself that I will be able to travel at half the cost of what claimed and also get a small refund back for the flight I did not take.
Deepshikha told me that the airlines do not provide any refund and that I should buy a new ticket. However, I managed to travel with my existing ticket and also managed to cancel one of the tickets of which the refund has gone to your account.
I was told by Deepshikha that if any refund amount is shown in their November account statement, then she would transfer it back to my account. But she did not bother after that. It's been a month now. Again I have proof from the airlines that they have refunded my money.
She has repeatedly made mistakes in preparing itenarary and because of which both my parents and myself have faced a lot of problems, to the extent that she has made our vacations miserable.
The list above is not exhaustive as there are many other things which she has done and I will definitely be producing them all along with proof of all the points listed above in the consumer court.
