I purchased apache rtr 160 dd bike in MAR 2017 (Paid on Feb 5 but invoice was generated on 22nd March) and had strictly told the dealer that i want 2017 manufactured model and not previous year's. On bill it was mentioned jan 2017 so i was convinced. As there was upgradation in rto i got my rc very late around may 1st week or so, in that the manufactured month and year is jan 2016, a year older than promised. I raised the issue with the dealer at first he told me that he will look into the matter and contact company but kept delaying it every time. After some months he started ignoring my calls and messages. I lodged the complaint in tvs customer care dept., wrote several mails and even tweeted but till now the problem is not resolved. I tried to check with their app called iride it showed dec 2015. Now i completely sure that the bike is more than a year older than mentioned on the bill and even the color mentioned is wrong. This is a clear case of cheating. I want to sue both dealer and the company. On the day I had given the cheque bill was not generated and to clear my suspicion I had mailed TVS company engine and chassis no. And asked them to verify the date of manufacture but didn't get any response. Had TVS replied to my mail I would have returned the bike as invoice was not generated. So in this case both company and dealer are at fault.
