TVS Apache - Not providing helmet
DADI SURESH filed complaint against TVS Apache on Aug 27, 2022
I bought RTR *** *V special edition from SLN TVS in Kurnool(******) on ** April ****. I asked for a helmet which they denied saying they don't have a helmet. Reading in tvs forum I got to know that TVS does provide Xpod Helmet with RTR series. Why was I denied the helmet then ?
According to Central Motor Vehicles Rules (CMVR), ****. Rule *** (*) (f) of Central Motor Vehicles Rules, **** makes it mandatory for the manufacturers of two-wheelers to supply protective headgears at the time of purchase of the two-wheelers.
I wrote a mail to tvs customer care and they replaied me like this below,
We wish to inform you that the offer of complementary TVS Xpod helmet with RTR series is currently applicable only in
Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Goa, rajasthan, Odisha, Pondicherry and Gujarat.
why they are not providing helmet in all states. so i decided to file a compliant.
