Vedantu com - Cancellation and refund of unauthorised loan

Dear Vedantu Support Team,

This is to bring into your notice,
A scam that was commited just to sell Vedantu Pro Subscription (NEET, * YEARS).

This was made possible brain washing the child which is a minor and cannot be held responsible for all that happened.

He got a call from Vedantu Academic Counsellor Hemlata Verma (**********)
He was asked to attend a demo session where he was supposed to be the benefits of enrolling into Vedantu.

He was thinking of subscribing to Vedantu Crash course for fast track course,

He is a kid, and we thought these documents would be required for enrollment as per your internal policies,

The loan amount was requested from financing partner (Propelld technologies private limited).

We, as a parent, were not informed anything about the loan procedure,

When the financing partner tried contacting the applicant for validation,
Academic Counsellor Hemlata Verma talked to them acting if She herself was the loan applicant,
Through Magic call (Voice changer) Application,

The same was done when the verification guy called for matching the details,
The academic Counsellor Hemlata Verma asked her sister to talk to them asking my child on a conference call,

She told my ward that the verification guy was a good friend of hers,
And so, the loan was approved.

The amount of Rs **** started getting deducted,
The total loan amount: ₹ *****.**

As per the records available on your website
Rs ****.** was paid through V-wallet.


My ward has not attended classes of Vedantu,
Someone asked me to share the login credentials as they wished to enroll for Vedantu


This is unlawful, shameful, and highly sensitive matter.
Without the parent's consent,
You cannot proceed the loan Application,
Taking the documents,

And sharing false information with my ward who is a minor.

We would request you to cancel the subscription immediately, Cancel the loan Application and initiate a full refund immediately.

P.S.: We have already escelated this previously, such as ticket #*******

But It was unresolved.


You have done total mental harrasment of us and we had to undergo financial, academic, as well as time losses.

If this issue still remains unaddressed,
This case shall be escelated to National consumer forum as per available legal remedies and a legal notice will be sent to your registered address.

Please cancel the subscription and initiate a full refund for the same.
