- Bharti Airtel Limited closing consumer complaints without providing solutions Open
I have been getting slow speeds from Airtel for the last couple of weeks. So I decided to lodge a complaint at their customer helpline. I asked them about the reasons, they told me that it was due to some technical issues and it will be fixed very soon.
So I asked them for a clear date which they denied. I waited for a week but it was still not fixed so I reached out for them again. This time also they told me the same thing. The speeds I get are very unjustified for the price that I pay.
I get download speeds of ***-**** kbps which is not bad. The main issue lies with the upload speeds which are below ** kbps. That's not even *G speeds. My data plan is *.* GB/Day of *G data whose validity is for ** days and it costs around *** rupees. The data speeds that I actually get are so low. Also, the network signal strengths are very weak. This kept on happening for * weeks and is still not fixed.
But on the **th of August, I got frustrated and called them up again and asked them for the Ref. number of the first complaint that I registered. They told me that they can only provide me with the lastest ref. number. So then I decided to put up this issue at www.consumerhelpline.gov.in
The complaint was closed after a day from the company. They mentioned that no immediate solution hence case closed.
But they are not providing services for free. I am paying for it. So if they can't provide me with services then they have to give me compensation. So here I am to again fight back for my rights.
