I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and disappointment regarding my recent experience with Schangalaya Mahindra Cuddalore dealership. I believe it is important to bring to your attention the series of events that have transpired since my decision to purchase a Mahindra XUV*** W* Diesel from their dealership.
I had originally planned to purchase a XUV*** and contacted Schangalaya Mahindra Cuddalore to inquire about their available stock. I was informed that they had a ready version of the XUV*** W* in white color, which was purportedly manufactured in July. Based on this information, and given my immediate need for a vehicle, I proceeded to pay the full amount of **.** lakhs on good faith.
However, upon visiting the dealership's yard to inspect the vehicle, I discovered that the car was in fact manufactured in May, which was contrary to what I had been told earlier. I expressed my dissatisfaction and was assured that a new vehicle with a recent manufacturing date would be arranged within a week. Consequently, on August *th, I placed an order for a XUV*** W* Diesel, paying the full amount as requested by Schangalaya Motors Cuddalore, which included insurance, RTO charges, fast tag, and other fees.
Despite their promises to deliver the vehicle within a week, there have been repeated delays and a lack of proper communication from the dealership. I have contacted multiple individuals within the dealership, including the GM Mr. Rajendran, Mr. Vasanth, and salesperson Karthikeyan, but have received no substantial updates on the delivery status. I have personally made over *** calls over the past month, attempting to obtain information about my order.
During this time, there were changes made to the XUV*** W* model, including the addition of a sunroof, resulting in a price increase of Rs. **,***. I explicitly communicated my preference for the older model without a sunroof due to tax implications. Both Mr. Rajendran and Mr. Vasanth assured me that the older model would be arranged and confirmed my order with the guarantee that I would receive the model I initially intended to purchase.
However, to my astonishment, on August **th, after nearly ** days of waiting, I was informed that Schangalaya Mahindra Cuddalore could not deliver the XUV*** W* without a sunroof. They now insist that I pay an additional amount of around Rs. * lakh to obtain the vehicle, which contradicts their previous assurances. This unexpected development has left me deeply frustrated, particularly since I had borrowed this amount with **% interest to ensure timely payment.
I kindly request your immediate intervention in this matter. I expect transparency, accountability, and adherence to the commitments made by your dealership. I am left with no choice but to escalate this issue to your attention, as the situation has caused significant distress and inconvenience. I trust that Mahindra and Mahindra values its customers and will take the necessary steps to resolve this matter promptly.
I appreciate your prompt attention to this serious issue and look forward to a swift resolution.
