Greetings from Garg Family!

Thanks for giving the call to us (My son Archit Garg + Self) regarding the defect in our Car No. UP** DP ****.

Our call was of ~ ** minutes duration, as you were not apprised of the exact facts / issues what we are facing, though it has already being registered in the Mahindra portal - Hence let me once again let you know in brief the issue being faced by us (Though we have told this to “n” number of people in Koncept/ Mahindra Service Team ( Pradeep Kumar (Sector *-Koncept Mahindra), Subrato Jana (Sector *-Koncept Mahindra), Bhoopendra Sharma (Sector *-Koncept Mahindra), Sumit Negi (Mahindra), Moin Saif (Sector *-Koncept Mahindra), Prakash Mishra (Sector **- Koncept Mahindra), Abdul Wahid (Mahindra), Agraj Sharma (Mahindra) – We do hope that Mahindra Team will not delete these records from the customer portal. You can understand the mental harassment to which we are being put in by Mahindra Team.

*. We have purchased this vehicle from Koncept Automobiles Sector * Noida on *th Jan **** after taking a loan from ICICI Bank. We are paying our hard-earned money towards the EMI of the same.

*. Within ** – ** days we started getting the problem - When we stop the car at any of the red lights & when we start once the light becomes green, The Car does not start & flashes the message “Transmission Malfunction“ - Please pay attention to the word “ Malfunction “. More than * – * times, the car has not started & it took somewhere around ** – ** minutes (While others were honking on our back) to get the car started. During discussions it came out that you were not apprised of this situation at all.

*. The vehicle has been taken by your service centre more than * – ** times with in the past nine months & it was kept in your service centre for days ranging from * days to ** days.

*. This time the vehicle was taken by you on **th Sep ** & till date it has not been repaired – More than ** days have passed - & we still not aware when we will be able to use our car with confidence.

*. Every time we will get a call from the new person (Like today u called us) with one or the other reasoning of the failure / defect & with a assurance that the vehicle has been thoroughly checked & repaired now.

*. During our call – to our utter surprise you mentioned that this is a feature of the XUV *** model & will occur whenever the engine / transmission conditions have a mismatch – Can you kindly explain that “Transmission Malfunction“ message is a feature of all your XUV *** Cars – we presume you would have sold more thousands of this XUV *** model. Somehow you could not tell even a single other owner who is facing the same problem.


*. It clearly shows that this particular piece has got an inherent manufacturing defect which till date you & Mahindra team is not able to resolve & passing the time with no result.

*. You could not explain, why this car was picked for * – ** times to your service centre in last * months itself & why so many parts like Battery / Alternator / Wiring / Control PCB etc has been changed as told by your staff while returning the car after the said repairs.

As we have come to a conclusion that the inherent manufacturing defect of this piece cannot be rectified by Mahindra Team & it is requested that Mahindra team should keep this car with them & deliver us another brand-new piece or return our money with due interest so that we can buy some other model & be relieved from the mental harassment we are being put in by Mahindra Team.

As discussed, – you will give us a call back in * working days on what Mahindra team is doing with this defective piece of the XUV ***.
