i am very disappointed by your services and rules are made by airindia. i made a booking on **th aug’** with you under the pnr - jf*yw. i made a mistake in the name of the one passenger and the correct name was james edgar mannas, i checked the issued ticket and called airlindia in ** minutes to inform about the name correction airindia denied i asked for the ticket cancellation with a full refund as cancelling within the same day (as per the iata policy under bsp rule).
i spoke to vineeta (location - chennai) and discussed the same thing with her however, she said there is no such policy and advised me to contact the travel agency as ticket was booked with a travel agency (happyeasygo). i called them as per them airline is the only one who can do the name correction or cancellation on this ground or asked the airline to put the remarks in the reservation so that they can process the cancellation.
i spoke to vineeta (so called supervisor) i said as there is an error in the middle name of *-* letters, i don’t think so there should be any problem to board the flight as this is the domestic travel and the first and the last name is mandatory. she rudely said that he cannot board the flight and asked me to cancel and book another ticket (she said mistake was done by me so she cannot do anything and she doesn’t even care about it).
i called again but i have been informed that there is no such policy and i have to cancel the ticket and i will be getting the refund of inr ***.** (after deducting the agency fee) only and she suggested me to book another ticket with the correct name. moreover, i booked the ticket for my client as i didn’t want any issue with my client so i booked another ticket for him with the correct name under the pnr - ylhd*. (it costed me around **** inr )
