Nagaraj A filed complaint against Renault India on May 30, 2018
My Renault Duster RXE Petrol **** model **k Km driven broke down on the *th of May **** near Aksa Beach Madh Island (Maharastra). I was accompanied by my wife and my in-laws (senior citizens). I managed to send them in a Auto Rickshaw, by this time it was *.** pm. I immediately called for the roadside assist and around *pm my car was towed to the Jogeshwari (E) service center. Tried reaching them several times and i could not get through any of their numbers. Called and complained to the customer care all that they said was they will look in to it. A week passed and they were still trying to figure what was the problem with the car. By **th may they had figured the problem was with the ECM (Engine control module) and it will take another ** more days for them the get the spare part as they didn't have it in stock. i waited patiently for another ** more days. on the **th when i called Mr. Anil Gupte from the service center he said it took some time since the vehicle was still in warranty and to claim it and the spare had to come from Chennai and promised me that ill get my car by the **th May. On the **th morning i get a call from Mr Anil Gupte saying that he needed the other spare key as he needed to program the spare key as well. So i went to the service center with spare key and asked if i can get the delivery of the car and he says that the Spare part is still not available and it will take another * to * working days. My wife has been travelling by cab and auto from Malad to Kalina every day up and down. My mom needs regular checkup for which again we have been spending on cabs. i have not been provided any timeline despite repeatedly following up with service center and customer care. My car has only been driven for **,*** kms and it’s a single handedly driven only by me no accidents have taken place and it has been regularly serviced. Renault has shown complete negligent behavior and have not tried to resolve the issue. i had to bare all the unnecessary expenses due to the faulty service and low quality product provided by Renault. I would also like to bring to your notice the customer care dose not provide any answers despite repeated request. Only when posts are made on the social medial platform of Renault dose one get some response but no solution is provided.

My two years of blood & sweat got valued finally with Voxya. I got a full refund with no hustle after they received notice.
