Nitu Singh filed complaint against Smart bazaar on Oct 18, 2025
So I have two scams here that happened with me on **th October **** in smart bazaar Khadinamore .
So first was the scam that the biller Niraj Dutta was doing and I want serious actions against this scam . So we are a regular customer and as it's diwali time we were visiting this smart point almost everyday and yesterday we didn't have much to buy just few items costing around ****-****/- and when we went to the billing counter the employee Niraj Dutta scanned our items and in middle one employee came and gave a mithai dabba ( that comes specially during diwali season) and mr scammer Niraj scanned it and the other employee went and me Niraj shouted to him it's ** % off and I thought nothing of it but I felt weird so I asked him did you remove what you just scanned and he replied with a cold yes and after all of my items were scanned he told the amount is **** something and we were startled because we didn't buy much item and so we said you have scanned wrong how come so much amount is showing and I asked him again about the mithai dabba scan and he said he has removed that and he was very reluctant to scan the items again and when we forced him to do so the bill came ****/- which was still over our thought but I'll come to that later . Mr Niraj would have scammed us if we didn't realise and he probably scams everyone if this would happen to us some days before we wouldn't have understood because our bill was high but today just because we had less Bill we caught him but he didn't even say sorry but was talking to us rudely .... He sits there just to scam people if we would have given extra money for no absolute reason would that scammed Niraj come and return us no because that was his plan . How many people would these two people are scamming can't imagine. Reliance shouldn't hire these type of people because they will do this say sorry and move on but the reputation of the company goes down and company loses customer.
Now the second scam .
So it's a wrong price tag issue so few days ago we came and bought a specific utensil and it was priced ***/- now on this very day ( yesterday) .. the same utensils were buy one get one free and the price was ***/- ( smart price ) and since we have bought the same utensils two days before in ***/- we thought it's a nice offer getting two items in ***/- but when we checked our bill after the scam just to be sure we saw that the utensils are priced at *** /- ***/- and we were startled so we went again and asked them how and they said that there's a price tag under the ***/- price tag and if you taking by one get one then that is the one we take and I was like what ... Then how come it's by one get one free if we are paying the same amount long story short what they're doing is putting the new price tag for offer under the normal one and once customer bought it cannot be returned.... I returned one item and they gave me points in exchange but my money got blocked right ? What is this if I wanted to buy in full price I would have bought the day before but no ....
