Vlcc Health Care Limited - VLCC Poor Service Denial of EMI Refund Despite Unused Sessions

In January ****, I sought acne treatment at VLCC Madhuram Branch in Mumbai. However, my experience quickly soured due to various issues. Firstly, crucial treatment details were only provided verbally, lacking proper documentation. This included vague instructions on skincare and the treatment's cost, which was later found to be inaccurately communicated due to problems with OTP generation for EMI payments. Despite my attempts to clarify these details, the staff failed to provide satisfactory evidence or explanations.

Moreover, additional charges were levied without clear justification or billing, adding to the financial discrepancies. When I reached out to VLCC's helpline for assistance, my concerns were not adequately addressed, with promised follow-ups failing to materialize. Despite assurances of monthly dermatologist appointments, these were repeatedly postponed or substituted with over-the-counter ointments, exacerbating my worsening acne condition.

After only four sessions of chemical peels, my acne relapsed severely, contrary to the expected improvement. External consultations confirmed the ineffectiveness of VLCC's treatment. Despite my decision to discontinue the treatment and requests for a refund, VLCC has failed to respond or reimburse the amount paid. The ongoing deduction of EMI payments for an ineffective treatment further compounds the financial burden.

Frustrated by the lack of resolution, I have decided to escalate the matter to the consumer forum for intervention. The entire experience with VLCC has been marred by inadequate documentation, financial discrepancies, ineffective treatment, and unaddressed refund requests, leading to immense dissatisfaction and the decision to seek external intervention for resolution.
