Make My Trip - unprofessional behaviour and lack of customer concerns

On ** March ****, I booked a package tour to Ladakh starting in *st week of July, with quotation of Rs. **,*** , for * persons. I was coerced to pay a deposit of Rs *****.
After about two weeks I wrote to MMT informing that * additional persons would like to join the tour, and if they can offer any quantity discount.

I received additional quotation for Rs **,*** without any cost breakdown. per person. Moreover only * room was offered for * persons.

I wrote back inquiring why only * room was offered and to provide cost breakdown.
In response I got same quotation for several trip starting at different dates.

I wrote * more email messages but did not receive any response for ** days. I got worried that my deposit is lost and wrote to MMT Customer Care. All I received that they had passed on my query to concerned staff. After a couple of more follow up emails from me I received a new quotation for * persons for Rs *,**,***.

This new quotation is roughly * times the first quotation given for * persons. Moreover * persons are accommodated in each room. And no breakdown of cost per person.

Frankly, I have lost faith in MMT in their ability to provide professional service. Though more costlier than other tour operators, I chose MMT for its size and reputation.

But the anguish MMT has put me through is not deserving and has created insecurity of a pleasant holiday.

In the circumstances, I demand return of my deposit.
