Nestaway In Bangalore - Unjustifiable repair charges

I am a tenant of Nestaway since July ****. I have taken one bedroom in a shared flat in Bangalore, Whitefield area. When I moved in there was no checklist or list provided on the list of items and utilities present in the apartment. I trusted Nestaway and didn’t bother much about it at that time. But later understood that it was a trap to penalize you later. When I moved in, the kitchen cabinets had damages, washing machine was not working, some door locks had issues and some bulbs were not working. I didn’t bother to report those issues as I only wanted a stay during weekdays and was not planning to cook or wash. But later when one of the flat mate moved out in December **** , Nestaway charged me Rs ***** as move out charges. Below were the items charged against me :
Defect bulbs repairs, defect commode and flush repairs, defect kitchen cabinet repairs, defect mcb repair, defect curtain rob repairs, defect wall mixer repairs, defect tube lights repair, defect washing machine repairs.
I raised a ticket(CC_********) with customer service team as those defects were already existing before I became a tenant, but they informed me that I have to pay it as I am residing there hence partially responsible for the damages and asked whether I had any proof that those damages were already existing before I moved in, so I gave up and paid the amount as I thought at least I will have those get repaired but none of the above defects were repaired. I came to know from my flat mate that he was also charge around Rs ***** for same repairs. So Nestaway collected more than Rs ***** in Jan **** for repairs and did nothing !
Later in July ****, another flat mate moved out and I was again charged as move out charges Rs ***** and below were the items charged against me:
Gas stove repairs, defect tube light repairs, defect kitchen cabinet repairs, defect washing machine repairs, defect door lock repairs, defect washbasin repairs, defect shower repairs, defect wall mixer repairs, defect commode and flush repairs, defect mirror repairs.
As you can see most defects were like what was raised in Dec ****. I got to know that Nestaway charged Rs Rs***** to the tenant who moved out. But they have only replaced few tubes and did nothing else. They are collecting money for repair and not doing anything and keeps on repeatedly charging tenants for defects that already exist without repairing them. This is daylight robbery ! I raised a service request (CC_********) for this and the Nestaway customer manager was very harsh and arrogant. She said that you need to pay for the damages as you are residing in the apartment and didn’t gave any satisfactory answer for the amount already collected for repairs . She asked me to provide proof that the defects already existed before I moved in and unfortunately, I didn’t have any.
What Nestaway is doing is intentional looting. I want a) The money collected early from me earlier ie Rs ***** to be refunded. b) The charges raised in Aug **** , Rs ***** to be cancelled c) provide a list of items and their current condition against which all future move outs will be validated and charged .
Nestaway is behaving very unethically. Once you became a tenant they don’t care about you. I request your support to get me justice.
