I had booked an e-ticket on Train No. ***** (Bikaner–Sealdah Duronto Express) with the following details:
PNR: **********
Date of Journey: **/**/****
From – To: New Delhi – Dhanbad (DHN)
I boarded the train, but it was diverted and did not touch Dhanbad, my booked destination. Hence, I could not complete my journey.
I filed a TDR under the correct reason (Train diverted and not touching destination station). However, my refund status was marked as ERD Repudiated. This rejection is not correct, as per Railway Refund Rules, I am entitled to a refund for the untraveled portion (from diversion point to Dhanbad)
I got my refund. You guys have really helped me when I needed it the most! Thanks again for your help :-)
