Hello sir/madam,
My flight which is scheduled to depart on *th June from Bangalore Bali via Bangkok by AirAsia flight is Cancelled Now by airlines due to ongoing covid** restrictions on Int. Flight fly by govt of india and I have made my booking via travel agency Make my trip in the month of Feb, which is before the this pandemic alert in India. This flight booking was made for some particular reason due to my planned marriage. Now marriage also cancelled and there is no future plans to travel by air at least for min * to * years.
Since flight is cancelled by Airlines and I am asking for the full REFUND for the amount which I have paid which is *****/- including make my trip service charge, but both airlines and make my trip now denying to refund , rather they are giving credit shell , which is of no use for me and I don't use air service anymore . If that is the case what is the use of getting credit shell.
I have an written communication from air lines that they have refunded amount to Make my trip fully and air line is asking me to contact travel agency get my refund , but make my trip is not ready to accept my request and denying to process refund.
It's my rights to get my money back and how air lines or travel agency can hold my money ? Even supreme court verdict says that , flight cancelled due to covid restrictions should give full refund to customers.
Already I am in financial crisis due to this covid and almost in the stage of loosing my job, at this my this money is very very important for my needs. I don't have any need to get Credit shell.
Kindly requesting to get my refund amount from Make my trip which is cheating me to process my money.
Attaching all the booking details copy and flight cancelled confirmation from both MMT a d AirAsia.
Also I have attached written confirmation via Twitter by AirAsia that they had processed my refund and it's with travel agency , but Make my trip is sending that .
Please kindly help me to get my refund amount .
