on **th december i ordered from swiggy instamart for around * items which were all perishables. I ordered * times out of which * times was paid through corporate food card, once through UPI and once COD. the * times with prepaid payment my money was debited all * times and it showed as transaction failed. i tried to place a COD order because i thought it was a problem with my bank and the COD order failed as well. All transactions were failed and showed as order not processed. But after sometime swiggy sent * orders of the same failed orders without any notification or intimation. i did not even receive a call from any customer care or delivery person regarding the same. i immediately tried to reach out to customer care but i had to wait for * hours before anyone joined as it kept showing all agents were busy. while i was waiting i received a call from a swiggy executive saying there is a technical glitch on swiggy's side and they have to cancel my order. I explained to him that the orders were already delivered and i want to raise a return request because all transactions were failed and the orders were sent without my knowledge and that all items were still packed in the same bag and condition i received them in. All bags were sealed and no single item was taken out. the same executive told me to raise a request throught swiggy chat within the app and assured me that they accept the return request and provide a refund but when someone on chat finally joined they told me that it cannot be returned and refunded even though it was a technical glitch from their side. two times on the swiggy help chat, my conversation was ended abruptly by the customer care executives while i was still trying to get a resolution. I received one more from another executive again saying that they have to cancel the order due to a technical glitch, i again explained that the orders were delivered and i wanted to place a return request. The executive told me that i have to cancel the order first to receive a refund so i told them to cancel it. later i received a message saying that refund will no be provided since i cancelled the order whereas the executive made me cancel it. I again went to swiggy help chat and this time they connected me to the supervisor who assured me that all money debited on the failed transactions will be credited back but its been ** days now and i havent received any refund nor any update the regarding the same. swiggy is using unfair trade practices to loot people in such terrible ways. They had a technical glitch but still made consumers suffer for their fault. i would like to receive a refund on all the failed orders and would also like to raise a complaint against all executives involved here as they all scammed me and wasted a lot of my time and money
