On **th November, I placed an order for the Dyson Airwrap Hair Styler from the TataCliq website. There was an offer on the product, wherein I get to claim * free accessories for * rupee. After placing the order, the TataCliq team very conveniently canceled the two accessories and delivered ONLY the main product to me. They simply delivered the main product to me without even communicating that the offer was not being fulfilled. Then they declined the return of the (unused) item saying it is not eligible for return. I only ordered from their website because of the offer they were providing. Without theses free accessories, there were much better deals on other websites. This is plain FRAUD. They just lured me with a false offer that they could not fulfil.
Dealing with their customer care has been an absolute horror since over a month. I have been consistently trying to get my complaint addressed. I explicitly told them multiple times that I will not be satisfied until I get one of the following resolutions:
*. Fulfill the initial offer and send me the accessories that I claimed, or,
*. Take back their product and provide a refund since I did not sign up for this deal
They declined my return request and when I raised another complaint against it, they just keep telling me to wait for a business day to hear back form them. It's been a WEEK of waiting and hearing this same response.
On a side note, my close friend has also had the exact same experience with the same product and offer. This is a systemized fraud that they have conducted with I don't know how many people.
I got my refund. You guys have really helped me when I needed it the most! Thanks again for your help :-)
