Personal - Surgery Advised during pandemic resulting COVID death

Dr Sibaji Basu of Fortis Hospital and kidney Institute, Kolkata, insisted for a surgery for my FIL on ** April ****. In this alarming pandemic situation this had to be avoided. The patient was ** years old, got Covid and finally passed away on *th May. We feel that the suggestion of delaying the surgery should have come from an experienced doctor like Dr. Basu. This decision of his, driven by financial gains, has costed a life.
