Myntra - Return request declined

I had ordered a pair of trousers from Myntra (Order no : *******-*******-*******) . It was delivered to me on Oct**, ****. When I opened the package, there was no price tag inside it. I raised a return request the very same day (Oct**th) but the return was declined on Oct**th due to missing price tag, for no fault of mine. The product is unused and new. Why should I me made to pay for no fault of mine. There is no way for a consumer to verify if a package has price tag inside without opening it to decline delivery.

I raised the concern with Myntra multiple times(Incident Id - IN******************** ) and clearly told them its not my fault. I have ordered hundreds of products in the past and I have never faced such a problem. This should be a human error at their end where they missed placing the price tag while packing the product. I also explained that the return request was placed the very same day the delivery was made and that the product is new and unused. Each time I got the same reply "Post reviewing your case, I regret to inform you that we will be unable to accept your return request as the price tags are missing. The price tag is the proof of authenticity for this product due to which we are unable to restock or resell the product."
Why should I suffer for no fault of mine ?
