Xiaomi India - replacement not done

i purchased redmi note * on ** july and found that product was damaged..i immediately requested for replacement...after ** days they asked me to ship the product that was damaged i shipped it at my own cost...it reached them on *th august...from then they are just saying one and only reason that they are still working on issue. no further updates
