Hitachi 1 5 Ton AC - REPAIRED AC NOT WORKING PROPERLY

That I am the purchaser and user of a Hitachi Air Conditioner manufactured and sold by the Opposite Party.

That when a “no cooling” complaint was registered, the Opposite Party’s service team thoroughly inspected both the indoor and outdoor units. Following inspection, they raised a repair cost of ₹*,***/-, which I duly paid.

That prior to this repair, there was no noise or vibration issue. However, immediately after the repair carried out at the Opposite Party’s service centre, abnormal noise and vibration problems began, leading to repeated complaints and service visits.

That in good faith, I also registered an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) worth ₹*,***.**/- for the said unit, reflecting my intent to maintain it properly.

That subsequently, the Opposite Party attributed the defect to Outdoor Unit (ODU) installation and demanded ₹*,***/- for relocation. To verify their claim, I personally arranged for the ODU to be shifted to a distant location at my own effort and expense. Despite this, the noise issue continues, thereby proving that the problem lies with the Indoor Unit (IDU), which became defective only after the Opposite Party’s repair intervention.

That even after repeated escalations, the Opposite Party has failed to resolve the matter and continues to shirk responsibility by deputing inexperienced technicians and demanding unjustified charges.
