Religare Health Insurance - Religare cancel my parents health policy from their end

I took a health policy for my parents in September ****. In May **** my father was admitted to Desun hospital for chest pain. Then again I paid my second premium in September ****.

In April **** I got an email from Religare that my policy will be canceled because I hid hypertension at the time of taking the policy. But sir at the time of taking policy my father had only diabetes and that was mentioned in the policy.

In **** when my father was admitted to hospital that time I heard about hypertension. At the time of taking policy Religare sent a doctor to my place for body check up and collected blood.That time their doctor also confirmed that my father had only diabetes and for that reason they charged extra Rs.**** with policy amount (Rs.***** + Rs.****).

So if we hide anything at the time of taking policy that means their doctor is not qualified to diagnose the patient properly. Because on the basis of their doctor reports they charge extra Rs.****.

Second thing is according to Religare if they know that we hide hypertension then why not they canceled my policy in the year **** because my father was admitted to Desun hospital May ****.

That time they were totally silent and took my second premium in September **** and now after almost *years later they sent me cancellation email.
