Paisabazaar - Reimbursement of Finance Charges and taxes thereon

This pertains to the Finance charge of Rs.****.** and Rs.***.** as taxes thereon. These charges were levied on my card account as the due amount on the card was not paid before the statement generation.

I applied for a personal loan with paisabazaar with an assurance that the funds will be released in *-* hours of time. Even than to keep the enough buffer I applied for loan almost a week prior to the statement generation date.

But the loan disbursal took surprisingly a long time and I was informed by the agent that there is some server error and the amount will be disbursed as soon as the problem is resolved. The problem got resolved and the amount was disbursed but only after the generation of the statement and hence having finance charges and taxes.

Now when I approached the PaisaBazaar team for the reimbursement of this amount they denied mentioning that these charges are not applied from their end and they will not pay it.

But why will they not pay it?

It was a problem in their server due to which the disbursement was late resulting in paying after the statement generation. If everything would have been in time there would not have these charges on my account. Therefore, paisabazaar should bear these charges and not me.

Please help in getting the same reimbursed.
