I am writing you to raise a complaint against your Mini Vodafone Store situated at Sector **, Noida, UP (******).
Last week my number stopped working, customer care advised me to get the sim card replaced because at their end the number was working fine. So, I went to the Mini Store and met the executive on **rd December ****. I was told that since my number is from Punjab circle they would need to procure the sim card from Punjab which would take * days. Thus, they asked me to come visit on Tuesday.
I went on Tuesday when I was told that the Sim Card has been received but they are not able to find it right now. They made me wait for close to an hour after which I left asking them to call me when they find it because I wanted to resume my number urgently.
No one called to update me on the status. Since I was in urgent need I visited the store again and finally received the Sim Card (on **th Dec ****). I was assured the number to be active in ** hrs. Even after ** hrs it was inactive. So, I visited the store again to see what went wrong only to realize that they havent updated the information on the system yet.
Now the even after * days the problem is yet to be resolved. The store representative stopped responding to my calls after the first call.
Even though I understand that the sim card was from the other circle that's why it is taking time. Still, the undue delay in updating details online, not understanding the urgency and making me visit the store, again and again, is bad customer service. I have paid over Rs ***/- for parking my car and more in fuel to going to the store, I even took * half days leave from office to go to the service center when its not that crowded, still the issue hasn't been resolved.
All my bank, Adhaar transactions are linked to this number. I have applied in some job openings giving that number, now I dont know if they actually got back to me or not. More than anything its the mental agony that this whole incident has caused me.
