Bharatpe Merchant - Refund Request Denied

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

My days in Delhi is getting over and therefore I have started selling things in my room including fridge, furniture, etc. One such item is a wooden centre table. I placed an Ad in OLX and received a request for buying the item from me.

For the payment part, the merchant asked me to share my Paytm number and I did. Now, she shared a QR code requesting for an amount of Rs. *. I scanned and started the process as directed. She asked me to continue with the payment. However, I was skeptical and didn't want to carry on with the payment as it was going to be deducted from my account. However, I made the payment and as Rs. * was deducted from my account I received two Rs. * in my account. Hence the amount deducted and the amount I was to receive were both credited to my account.

Next, it was the time for the actual payment to be initiated and I received another QR code for Rs. ****. I made the payment from my account but this time I did not receive the amount. The merchant kept insisting since the account to which the amount of Rs. * was credited was not used, therefore, I didn't get the amount. She kept on insisting to carry out the transaction using the account to which Rs. * was credited earlier. Therefore, I made the transaction of Rs. **** again, this time using the account to which the Rs. * was credited earlier. But even this time, the amount just got debited but not credited to my account.

Now, as I keep requesting for the merchant to initiate refund for the two transactions, the merchant keeps denying saying that I would receive the amount once I perform a transaction of Rs. ****. But this time I didn't do it.

The merchant is denying me the refund of the amount deducted from my account. Please help me reclaim the amount that is deducted from my account.
