Refund for my cancelled flight *E *** PNR : SGRM*S - RAMESH SAHA.
Dear Customer,

Thank you for your email.

With reference to your email, we would like to inform you that under the booking reference number SGMR*S, your flight *E-*** has been canceled due to COVID-** travel restrictions. We regret the inconvenience caused to you due to the cancellation of the flight.

Further, as per the latest guidelines, we are in the process of changing your booking to a credit shell for the booking amount, valid for * year, for the same passenger(s).

Hence, we respectfully decline your request for a full refund in this regard.

Dear Subhojit das,

"Respectfully decline" this kind of hippocratic revert showing the monopoly and bad customer service of a organisation and it's employee.

Guidelines set by DGCA not any aviation company...

Please be update that the airlines instead of providing the full refund of the amount collected for the tickets due to cancellation, are providing a credit shell, valid upto one year, which is clear in violation of the Civil Aviation Requirement of May **** issued by the DGCA which clearly states that 'the option of holding the refund amount in credit shell by the airlines shall be the prerogative of the passenger and not a default practice of the airline.

I will not accept because it is hard earned money and I could barely afford to buy the tickets during Corona pandemic.

I will take your response to social media and will report it to consumer forum.

Because of this I was stuck in an unknown city and I had to arrange another mode of transport which costed me **k more.

I will send a bill to you for reimbursement
