Anindya Srivastava filed complaint against Make My Trip on Feb 28, 2018
I cancelled a booking on Jan **th, **** for which I received an email from MakeMyTrip saying that the refund has been processed from their end and that it will reflect it in my account in *-** working days. However, it hasn't reflected into my account as of Feb **th.
When I asked MakeMyTrip about it, they gave me a Return Reference Number to show to my bank and ask about the status. They say that my bank is at fault. I was able to contact my Branch Manager (State Bank of India) on phone today and he said that SBI is not responsible for this and that I should contact the company and ask them for my refund.
As of now, MakeMyTrip hasn't shown me any valid legal proof that they have legitimately transferred the amount. And, yet they are asking me to provide them with my personal bank statement till date showing all the transactions made into and out of my account. This is a violation of my privacy. I feel they should first deliver sound proof of having transferred the money into my account.

I got my refund. You guys have really helped me when I needed it the most! Thanks again for your help :-)
