Zudio Bangalore - Refund given in credit note instead of original source

I recently brought a Denim of ***rs for my fiance from Zudio. However the size that i brought was * size bigger and when we went for replacement of size the product was not available and other available products where not that great. Hence I requested for a refund in cash so I could buy something else from some other place. However the staff was not ready to give the refund they were okay to give the credit note which is valid for ** days. I spoke to the store Manager asking him to give the refund in cash or to original source he was revisiting for the same. And was insisting for credit note and said we can't give the cash. This is unlawful as if they are taking the money in cash or credit card they should return in the same format and not force for credit note as it mandates us to use their only.
