Nancy filed complaint against Magicpin on May 26, 2025
I placed an order on magicpin few days ago, but after waiting for it for * hour, I got a call from the rider that the outlet is not handing over the food and is saying that it will take * hours more. Nobody in there right mind will wait that long as it was already getting late at night. Therefore I contacted the customer service on the app and told them to cancel my order as it getting very delayed. The agent verified from the outlet and assured me that the outlet is at fault therefore my order will be cancelled and I'll get my full refund. But after few hours late at night at freaking * Am when I was sleeping peacefully, I got a call from the rider that my food is here. I was shocked and furious. How can my order arrive after cancelling it that too so late in night! I was in disbelief. I contacted the customer care agent again and he started apologising for not cancelling my order and requested me to not accept the food as it was supposed to be cancelled. I didn't accept the food as requested by the agent, also no body in there right mind will accept that food after * hours of ordering it that too so late at night when everybody is asleep. Few days has been passed and the app is doing nothing to give me my refund. They are denying my refund on the basis that I refused the order, but they are not realising that the food was ordered * hours late in the middle of the night at * Am that too after cancelling it!. Even after providing proofs of the chats with the agent they are denying my refund. This is stealing! First they delayed my order then they didn't cancel it on time and then a delivery was attempted at * Am in the night. It is mental harrasment. They themselves asked me to not accept the order and now the are not giving me my money back as well. I want my money back! As I have all the proofs of the chats. They literally mentally HARRASSING me, they also tortured me by calling me at * Am in the night. Please resolve my issue.
