DeoDap International Private Limited - Refund Denied for Dropshipping Plan

On *th September ****, I raised a support ticket after noticing that several attractive and sellable products (such as the "Home Styling" collection) were not available in the CSV file despite earlier assurances that all products listed on the Deodap app would be available for dropshipping through Wukusy.

On **th September, I followed up after ** days, and the company clearly replied that product updates are done "on a monthly basis." However, no update was provided after *rd September. Later, they shifted their stance to claim there is "no fixed schedule."

On **th and **th October, during calls with their representative, I was informed for the first time that there are “two categories of SKUs” on the Deodap app, and not all would be available for dropshipping. This distinction was never mentioned anywhere on their website, policies, onboarding communication, or written replies. Both calls were recorded by them, but when I requested the recordings, they refused to share.

Despite paying for a yearly subscription, I have not been able to place a single order via the Wukusy panel, meaning the service remained unutilized. Refund has been consistently denied, even after repeated follow-ups.

As a result, I wasted August and September in website setup, payment gateway integration, custom module creation, ad account setup, and market research — and lost the crucial Navratri, Dussehra, and Diwali season, when demand for giftable products was at its peak.

This constitutes deficiency of service, misrepresentation, and unfair trade practice.

Relief sought:

Refund of ₹**,*** (plan fees paid)

Compensation of ₹**,*** for mental agony, wasted effort, and loss of festive season opportunity

Litigation/complaint costs of ₹*,***

Directions to the company to maintain fair trade practices, clear communication, and transparency in product availability.

Please note - I had also informed the Opposite Party multiple times, in writing, that I would be filing a consumer complaint through the E-Daakhil system. However, since this was a GST-based transaction and there was confusion regarding whether the matter would be admitted in the consumer court, I sought legal advice. Based on consultation, I was advised to file my complaint through Voxya as the more appropriate remedy.
