I ordered a mobile display (electronic spare part) from Maxbhi.com. Upon receiving the item, it was found to be faulty and unusable, showing a white screen with vertical lines when tested. I immediately raised a return request, explaining the issue clearly.
Despite this, Maxbhi insisted I courier the item back at my own cost for inspection as this is there policy, which I did. The product was returned in the exact same condition I received it with there warranty seal intact. I have added the image of product along with it's issue.
After a delay, the company rejected my return citing the following:
The product has a physical lens crack.
The crack is not visible to the naked eye, only visible under deep inspection by a trained technician.
They refuse to provide photographic evidence of this alleged damage only the product image that doesn't show anything with no further evidence .
They admit the damage is not related to the actual defect (white screen with lines).
They refused to test the issue I reported because they claim the product was "physically damaged".
Furthermore:
They threatened to destroy the product after ** days of receiving (in next *-* day) if I do not accept it back without resolution.
They refused to provide written responses even on chat or proof of internal findings or the product in question was not damage when they send me.
They later claimed that buyers are "supposed to have trained technicians inspect such parts upon delivery" but this requirement was not disclosed at the time of sale.
This behavior appears coercive and dishonest. Additionally, many users on Twitter/X report similar complaints against Maxbhi.com, showing a pattern of selling defective products and denying valid returns on vague technical grounds.
