I am registering this grievance against ODA Classes / Pigeon Education Technology Pvt Ltd. due to multiple breaches of trust, non-fulfillment of promised educational services, non-delivery of redeemed reward, and unauthorized deduction of reward coins from my ward’s account.
On **.**.****, my ward redeemed **,*** ODA coins through the ODA platform to claim an Incrizma Smart Water bottle. Despite more than three months passing, the product has not been delivered. This reflects a serious deficiency in service and amounts to deceptive conduct.
At the time of joining the *th Std ICSE ****-** batch, my ward’s previous wallet had approximately **,*** ODA coins, which were later found to be missing without any notice, approval, or explanation. This unauthorized removal is highly unethical and amounts to digital cheating.
Further, I enrolled my ward into ODA Classes in **-** batch based on the repeated promises made by ODA academic counselors and sales team, between December **** and April ****, assuring complete tuition coverage for subjects including Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), Social Science, English Grammar, and Computer Science for the academic session ****–**. I made a payment of ₹**,***.** via credit card on **.**.****, under a **-month EMI plan, with a total payment of roughly ₹**,*** including interest and conversion charges.
However, no regular classes have been started until today neither fees is being returned as ODA counsellors had assured that they have full fees refund policy if not liked by parents/ student.Despite legal notice (i.e., **.*.**), several follow-ups, messages on WhatsApp, email communications, and telephonic requests, no satisfactory response or action has been taken. Every time, I was told that classes will begin “next week,” but no schedule was provided nor any academic engagement initiated.
This pattern of false assurance, non-delivery of service, and unauthorized deductions constitutes gross misrepresentation, breach of contract, and a clear violation under the Consumer Protection Act, ****.
Due to cheating/ deceiving, both I and my ward have suffered:
Financial loss (paid fees, ongoing EMI interest, and offline tuition fee being paid to other tutors)
Emotional and mental stress
Academic setback for the child’s current academic year
My two years of blood & sweat got valued finally with Voxya. I got a full refund with no hustle after they received notice.
