Srivatsa Sinha filed complaint against Flipkart on Mar 7, 2023
On **rd February, ****. I ordered a furniture item titled "Flipkart Perfect Homes Webster Engineered Wood TV Entertainment Unit (Finish Color - Almond Walnut, Knock Down)" OrderID: OD******************. But on the next day (**th) due to change in plan, i cancelled the product early morning. The status at the time of cancellation was in-transit, and after cancellation it showed "Refund Accepted". (Screenshot attached). After an hour of cancellation i received call from a Flipkart delivery executive asking my home availability for delivery. It was surprising given i had already cancelled but i anyway told him the same and asked him not to come. He complied and took the product back. So it never reached my doorsteps. After this event when i checked the status the message show on order page was the "Your item has been returned". Since that day i have been getting daily automatic IVR calls (exactly at ** PM) saying that "My order was not delivered and do i want a reattempt on delivery or do i want to cancel it" Every time i select cancel next day i get same call. In total i have attended this call ** times since then and tried cancelling it ** times. Status page shows cancelled and returned on **th Feb itself but this call still comes. In all this time there has been no refund that has been processed and overall status remains "Refund Accepted". I reached the customer care multiple time they said that resolution will happen before *th march but till date i haven't got any refund. They say that i wont get any more calls but i still do. The last executive that talked to me was "Pravesh Joshi". After *th of March whenever i call the Customer Care, they say this will take this on priority and that backend team is working on resolving this issue but i don't get any update from this mysterious "Backend Team" This is nothing but a daylight robbery. I request this forum to take immediate action against Flipkart and help me get my refund.
