I placed an order during a sale event at Flipkart,
delivery was attempted the very next day,
Delivery executive examined and evaluated the exchange smartphone that I had to exchange, and assured that delivery would be done by evening same day,
I waited till the expected delivery date, kept on chasing support executives asking for updates and was assured to be delivered on/before the promised date.
On the expected date, it was cancelled saying that I had cancelled the order from my end.
During the process, I chased and followed up 'n' number of times with multiple people explaining my case again and again,
The support process should be urgently revamped,
personnels should be trained to get insights and existing details for each product against each product, rather than creating a fresh ticket and all working independently with incorrect responses or false promises of resolution,
the max that they mention is the same that is displayed over the site,
in my case they assured the product will be delivered as seen over site and then mentioned it was cancelled as checked over site, and simply told to place the order again.
I am a Plus member at flipkart,
have been a regular customer for over a couple of years now and have had pleasant experiences with them, whether its daily households or smartphones or laptop or home appliances, I have always given a preference to FLIPKART.
But this time, it was
A VERY UNHAPPY AND UNRELIABLE USER EXPERIENCE WITH FLIPKART, MAY BE A FLAW IN THE PROCESS OR A COMMUNICATION GAP,
but Flipkart processes needs to take ownership of such cases rather than passing it over to Sellers,
also while addressing our concerns, they should keep themselves in our shoes and understand the priority/emergency of the deliveries rather than simply asking us to replace the order after keeping us waiting for so long.
Chronology:
A delivery executive visited on Saturday * May, along with the order and assured that it would be delivered the same day, the delivery agent had the product and evaluated my smartphone to be exchanged, then we kept waiting and kept touch basing with support people wherein they also assured it would be delivered on/before **th May, as this was to be delivered by today.
I have waited for * days after order placement, and today it was cancelled saying that I had cancelled the order.
Hope this will be looked into, and this is the right forum to raise this as I have been hearing such cases from my friends, acquaintance, etc.... especially during peak seasons/sales. The least we as customers expect is to acknowledge this as a mistake from provider end and provide a resolution(in my case, delivery can still be made based on coordination with sellers as its already dispatched in our city office center)
