Olx - OLX online victim of fraud

Dear Sir,

Dated **.Jan.** I have been cheated from the online fraudster who claims to be a Army BSF personnel named Maqbool Ahmed (phone number: **********) who posted a ad of selling Maruthi Swift Dezire . However since his BSF id, Aadhaar card and photos sent to me literally convinced that genuine and also ad posted in OLX which is present since Nov **rd **** made me to believe more as I believe company also equally responsible to Check the genuine of ad which is present since two months !

With all the facts above , I have been agreed to pay him delivery charges of ****rs to send the the car to my location as my location was different from bangalore however after I paid this delivery charges as ****rs and then suddenly Maqbool asked me to pay exactly as ****rs as the computer accepts only exact figure to
Generate the challan ! I paid again ****rs . Then rright after this he asked me to pay Army military insurance for Transportation Rs.****rs and further GPS charges of Rs.*****rs.

After this I yelled at them to cancel and return the amount however they threatened me again to pay a amount of ****rs and ****rs so that they will initiate the cancellation of parcel. After I paid the above person phone is switched off and also money has been lost of total **,***rs

While I reported this situation to OLX and received a complaint Id for my case ******** but unfortunately such fraud ad is still not been removed . This actually questions about OLX work and what measures they have been taken to avoid it. I am sure they would have removed such ads long before there could be possibility that doping into this scam would be avoided

With all the states facts above it extremely caused me a mental trauma , hard earned money and also rises safety and security concerns in this online platform. Hence I request concerned authorities to look into this issue and help me to sort out with OLX by issuing refund and apology letter to me at the earliest .
