Apple 14 - Not Repairing my iPhone under warranty

my phone got accidental damage (I have apple care+ plan). i took it to apple care , they send it to bangalore , they reverted that your phone has unauthorised modification. I asked them what modification you found, they said we cannot tell you as this is against apple policy. and you have to pay ***** to get it repair.
