I had recently placed an order on Swiggy (Order ID: #***************), which included Egg Biryani. However, to my shock and deep disappointment, I found a chicken piece inside the biryani.
This is not just a service error — it's a serious food safety and trust violation. I ordered Egg Biryani assuming it to be a vegetarian-friendly dish (as commonly accepted in India). Including non-veg chicken in such an order is highly insensitive and unacceptable, especially for individuals like me who avoid non-vegetarian food due to religious and personal reasons.
I immediately contacted Swiggy’s customer support, and they responded by giving me a ₹*** coupon. This resolution is not acceptable considering the seriousness of the issue. They have refused to issue a full refund or take appropriate action against the restaurant involved.
This incident caused emotional distress and completely broke the trust I had in Swiggy as a responsible food delivery platform.
Many thanks for your proactive approach and prompt action. This has accelerated and helped in resolving my issue.
