INDIGO - NON REFUND OF AIRLINES TICKET FARE

i am writing to request your kind intervention in securing a full refund of ₹**,*** from indigo airlines for flight number *E ****, PNR S*KM*Q, which i was unable to board due to unavoidable security concerns in jammu and kashmir. i had planned a family trip from kolkata to jammu tawi involving a flight from kolkata to delhi on **th may (which was cancelled ), a train from delhi to jammu, a return train from jammu to delhi on **th may ****, and a return indigo flight from delhi to kolkata on **th may **** at *:** am (flight *E ****, PNR S*KM*Q) and the passenger names are sarnav kedia, mahendar kedia, and kusum kedia. however, due to recent drone incursions in may and rising indo-pak tensions in the jammu and pathankot regions, we were forced to cancel our journey for safety reasons. this included cancelling our jammu tawi to delhi return train, which directly impacted our ability to reach delhi in time for the flight. despite reaching out to indigo citing humanitarian and force majeure grounds, we have not received a favorable response. our request is legitimate, as the cancellation was due to verified national security threats, and the flight was part of an interconnected travel plan that had already been disrupted by the initial flight cancellation on **th may. we are not demanding compensation but merely a rightful refund for a service that became unusable due to circumstances beyond our control. as per dgca guidelines, airlines are expected to show fairness and flexibility in genuine cases like this. we have attached proof of the cancelled train ticket, indigo booking details, and all related documents. i kindly urge dgca and the ministry of civil aviation to direct indigo to process a full refund in accordance with fair treatment policies.
