SAVINGS ACCOUNT - NON ACTIVATION OF MY SAVINGS ACCOUNT NO

Myself Soma Chatterjee opened one account in Punjab National bank ,Haldia Township during ****. My husband was working in IOCL, HALDIA MARKETING. I was teaching in Assembly of God Church School, Haldia Township. In **** my husband was transferred to hyderabad and we also left Haldia. An amount of Rs *.** lacs was credited to my account from EPFO Department. Since, I am now settled in Kolkata, I personally went to the PNB Branch Haldia *n **.**.**** and deposited Rs ***/- and filledup forms for: a) Activation of Account. b) Linking account with my Mobile number **********. c)Issuance of ATM Card and Cheque Book. Till now I have received only ATM Card but neither the Savings account no. ************* is linked to my mobile nor any cheque book. On enquiry the branch has informed us that matter pending with higher office. On request again I have submitted all forms duly filled in. I am afraid whether any fraud or scam will happen to my account and the money lying in my account will be siphoned off by scamsters. I Request Punjab National Bank Authorities to immediately look into the issue and ensure linking account to my Mobile number and Issuance of Cheque book without further Delay.
