Hitachi Ac - Mother control unit of external unit of split AC not working needs replacement

I had purchased *.* ton split AC by Hitachi from Croma in April ****. The AC suddenly stopped working by end of September. Upon calling the service center, they sent a person to check, who informed the mother control unit of the external unit of the split AC is damaged & needs to be replaced. He informed that since the AC was in warranty, this would be replaced by Hitachi free of cost. It has been over * weeks & mother control unit part is still not available with Hitachi. Tired of following up continuously everyday, it is really frustrating that a well known brand like Hitachi does not have spare part for a new AC of **** model, which was sold less than * months back.
Need the entire AC to be replaced with a new one, instead of replacing the part which doesn't seem to be available.
