Phone pe - Money transferred on a wrong ifsci code

Did a transaction of *****... but was done on a wrong ifsci code by mistake , hence got the pending status... on querying I noticed the mistake and messaged the customer care people about it and to process the refund...
Did the *nd transaction of same amount with the same account number same name and correct ifsci code and the transaction was successful in less than a minute. Now after three days I got the message that pending transaction is paid too...
how can a transaction get through on a wrong ifsci code....? How can a transaction can get through to a same account name, same account number of a same bank but with two different ifsci code...?
Now the Phone pe customer care executives are saying that money must have gone to someone have the same name and same account number but of a different branch.... they have hired some non educated people I guess.....
